Private house in Beverly Hills
Chicago-based Interior Designer Alessandra Branca is renowned for her innate ability to combine fine antiques, vibrant colors and extraordinary patterns to create her masterpieces. It is this natural talent and brilliant mix of new and old which makes the Roman-born designer’s work so distinguishable. To create the best atmosphere to live in a combination of comfort and elegance with a touch of whimsical are the key concept in Alessandra Branca's design philosophy. In this private house in Beverly Hills Branca applied the concept of total design to the decoration of the bed room. Red and white, both plain and striped, are the only colors used to inform the whole room. From ceiling to floor every surface is finely decorated with wallpaper or fabric leaving nothing to chance. C&C Milano textiles were high interpreters of the classical and distinctive style the client requested, and were able to bring the classical Italian taste in design in every single item. The Maison's historical linen Maremma Rigato makes good show of itself tailored into a beautiful bedding set completed with cutesy decorative pillows; all this is surmounted by a luxurious canopy bed in white linen bordered in red. On the walls again linen Maremma Rigato has been used as a wallcovering to achieve an Eighteenth-century allure, just like a private alcove. Antique selected chairs and an upholstered chaise longue have been covered in red and white linen to keep style consistent throughout the room. C&C once again is a special ambassador of Italian taste in design.
