Bonet blanket in cashmere Montenero is one the warmest and thickest throws in the C&C Milano collection. Montenero is a double width fabric, twill woven structure, very fluffy and warm insulating, perfect to add an extra layer on the bed in the cold winter times. Bonet is elegantly finished with “salto” stitching, a line of running hand stitched details along the perimeter in colorful hues to give a personal touch to a contemporary and plain blanket.
Cashmere is a selected fiber from small goats raised in Asia; the best fibers come from Iran, Mongolia, Tibet and Afghanistan. Its name derives from the historical region of Kasmir, situated between India, Pakistan and China. Cashmere is smooth, silky and velvety, giving a warm and fluffy feeling on the skin. This esteemed fiber is obtained by combing the soft undercoat of the goats by hand during the moulting season in the spring time; the estimated production per animal per year is only about 150 gram. Commonly associated with wool like fibers, cashmere has instead unique strength properties together with a more luminous and smooth surface and is over three times more insulating than sheep wool.
C&C Milano standard size is 94 x 87 inch.
