C&C Milano is excited to present a unique furniture line by Architect Piero Castellini Baldissera, who decided to design some iconic pieces from his childhood.
Cleopatra is a real luminous sculpture, of great design and strong visual impact. A table lamp with geometric and bold volumes that sums up the purity of lines and the presence in space. The essence of the project lies in the balance between the base, made with little holes that cover a second lightbulb, and the hat that seems to be suspended from the structure. The base of Cleopatra is made in fine ceramic painted in gold and the shade made in parchment paper stitched with a natural straw thread. Cleopatra really reminds of the essential grandeur of ancient Egypt where gold was a mark of regality and purity.
