C&C Milano adheres to the 4 Sustainability framework

Emanuele Castellini, CEO of C&C Milano, has prided himself over the years for his desire to use renewable energy sources for the company's production site, reducing plastic consumption and ensuring the use of recycled paper and cardboard for daily activities. The use of natural fibres, notably linen, characterized the production of the family business for more than 150 years. The development of linen fabrics has ensured Emanuele Castellini’s passion for sustainability continues through product design, linen being naturally sustainable and low waste in manufacture.
But he felt he could do more:
“Innovation is sustainability and for us being part of the future with both is essential. "
With this statement Emanuele Castellini has decided to orient the entire business model of C&C Milano towards sustainability and start a path of sustainable transformation of his business with the support of service provider, Process Factory. The project began with an assessment of the different dimensions of sustainability, which made it possible to define a sustainability strategy and roadmap to be implemented in the coming years. The implementation of the roadmap has now begun with the adhesion to the 4sustainability® framework and will materialize in a first phase through the development of concrete initiatives regarding the traceability of the production chain (4s TRACE), the use of sustainable materials (4s MATERIALS ) and to enhance the well-being of its employees and collaborators (4s PEOPLE).
