LUX* Grand Baie Resort

With over 40 years’ experience in the interiors business, Kelly Hoppen has designed retail and hospitality spaces, private homes, high-end resorts, yachts, aircraft interiors and more. A 2022 project in her brimming portfolio, Hoppen, in partnership with the Mauritian architect Jean-Francois Adam, brought her design expertise to the new LUX* Grand Baie—Mauritius’s first new build in 15 years. A total of 116 suites, villas and residences.

The atmosphere, luxurious and international, is made welcoming by the range of colors used: neutral and soft tones. The designers' commitment was to create something unique for the island, which could offer guests a different experience, thanks to a project capable of capturing the beauty of the land and the ocean in a "fun, vibrant and elegant way". The very particular design of the interiors marries perfectly with the architectural idea of the architect Jean-Francois Adam and almost naturally embraces the turquoise lagoon, the lush gardens and the white beach. To complete the hotel's offer, there are four swimming pools, a rooftop with outdoor gym, five restaurants and almost 2,000 square meters of wellness area.

C&C Milano outdoor fabrics dress the resort's outdoor furnishings with contemporary elegance, both in the private suites and in the common spaces.
